Robert Graves in Mallorca

A trip to Mallorca is not complete without a visit to DeiĆ  and the former home of Robert Graves, the immortal war poet and author. With experienced guides, Sue and Peter Hansen, we explored the delightful countryside and it’s no mystery why Graves lived so long at his villa. With such fabulous views, he must have found great inspiration for his writing. When he finally had to say ‘Goodbye to All That’ he was buried in the neaby graveyard under a cypress tree. An influential writer who, as a regular officer during The Great War, displayed an unusually powerful intellect and imagination.
