Roy Maxwell’s 100th Birthday Celebration

Jonathan attended his uncle’s 100th birthday celebration. The D-Day veteran enjoyed a tremendous day and many tributes were paid by solders, family and foreign dignitaries. Roy Maxwell was a member of No. 4 Commando, who stormed ashore just after zero hour on 6 June 1944. His troop attacked strongpoints in Ouistreham before moving on to Pegasus Bridge.
